Our Story
After 20+ years as pharmacists in Apex, North Carolina working at large chain pharmacies, husband and wife team Amrish Patel and Shimul Patel decided to strike out on their own. So in 2018, they started their own independent pharmacy to offer better and faster personal service to Apex and nearby communities.

Amrish Patel, RPh - Owner / Pharmacist
Amrish is passionate about helping his patients develop and maintain a healthy lifestyle. As the pharmacy’s owner, he is dedicated to providing his patients with access to innovative therapies based on the principles of integrative and functional medicine. Amrish works closely with medical providers and specialists to develop treatment plans that help patients get the most out of their life. He also sets the highest standard for quality in every product and service that is provided by the pharmacy’s staff.

Shimul Patel, RPh - Owner / Pharmacist
Shimul is the lead clinical pharmacist and oversees all of We Care Pharmacy’s clinical services. She is passionate about healthcare and has built her career on educating physicians and patients about pharmaceutical products across several different diseases throughout her 20-year career. Shimul believes that customized prescription compounding offers exciting opportunities to provide even more custom treatment options to providers and to patients to advocate for their health and wellness.
